April is our newest cosmetologist at the St. Michael location, starting in March. She graduated from Albany High School in 2003, which we believe makes her the youngest working at both salons which at this point we won't hold against her. As most cosmetologist do in their younger days, she was doing hair while attending school on St. cloud and Winona, but obviously hair was her calling so she attended and graduated from the Model College of Hair Design in April of 2006. Prior to graduating from cosmetology school she met her husband Christopher. He did use the pick up line "April is my favorite month" to which he said she melted like butter.... smooth Christopher smooth... April and Christopher recently got Married in July of 2009 on Mackinac Island and bought their frist house together in April. They do not have any children, yet, but are proud parents of a very spoiled Yorkshire Terrior named Emma. When she isn't working, she is a huge football freak (Go Patriots) and would like to warn you, that if you do see her out, she will be very into her games and not to interrupt her for your safety. She loves to spend as much time as possible with her five neices and nephews and even has a weekly date night with her husband. What I think most we are excited about is that she is a clean freak. She continuouly cleans on her time off, which we are hoping she continues here at the salon (hint hint). We are excited for her to join our group as she is the final piece to our puzzle here at the St. Michael location!
