Aarica is a 1997 graduate from Rockford High School. It took a while before Aarica could decide on her future. She worked as a waitress, receptionist, and even was a caretaker for adults with special needs. So after jumping around trying to find the perfect profession, she decided to go to Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. That was where she was taught how to hold a scissors for the first time and do the magic that she does so well today. Keep in mind, for the first 18 years of her life, hair styles and make up didn't mean anything to her, and even her buddy PJ didn't care how she looked... (PJ was her horse) She graduated with honors from Aveda Institute in June of 2000.

She first worked at a salon in Eden Prairie and then worked on a cruise ship, in the spa and salon for 4 months. On board the Radisson Seven Seas Mariner, she saw parts of the world that most of us only dream of, and works so hard to someday get back to. When arriving back on land, Aarica worked at a salon in Rogers where she then decided to get her Managers License.

In 2002, she came to work at All About Hair and after 4 years, when the business came up for sale, she took over ownership. In July of 2006, she changed the salon name to Insparationsalon, added some fresh paint and furnishings to the St. Michael location, and is so proud to be the owner. In March of 2007, Aarica was proposed with the idea of having more chair renters working with her. She decided to open her second location in Albertville on August 1st, 2007. All of the girls working with her at Insparationsalon in St. Michael and Albertville love her as an owner, but then, would they tell you anything different?

When not working, which these days rarely happen, Aarica keeps herself plenty busy. She enjoys working out at Anytime Fitness to relieve some stress, and also enjoys running outside. She loves taking classes that the gym has to offer, such as boot camp and kickboxing.  Sitting in the garage BBQ'ing with her roommate Shaunta and watching the current sporting even on TV is one of the many things Aarica loves to do.  She has a boyfriend named Scott who is, as she says "amazing"...  as she always walks into the back room of the salon  and asks "Have I told you lately how amazing my boyfriend is?  However, we enjoy this new-found happiness, as in a "happy owner, makes our life easier"  :)  One thing you would not know about Aarica is she definitely a "small town girl"!! She loves going to Cattle Shows with her family, and up North getting all muddy four wheeling and just being outdoors!! For some odd reason she says she loves being places where she doesn't have to worry about how her hair looks (wonder why?)!! She also has one Godson Zeth, who is 4 1/2 years old, and one Niece and Goddaughter Aubrey who will be turning 3, which she tries to see as often as possible. Aarica unfortunately had to say good-bye to the love of her life, her 17 year old cat Ambrosia this last October, and would love to get another pet, but is waiting for the right time.
